Paper View - Victorian Christmas recreated in at the National Trust's Uppark House in West Sussex.

An artist has created a stunning upstairs downstairs view of a Downton Abbey era Christmas to life with characters made entirely from paper.

Denise Watson has dressed ten plain shop mannequins in clothes, shoes, hair and even jewellery made from things like newspaper, brown parcel paper and paper tablecloths.

She started creating her characters for a display at Uppark country house, near Petersfield, West Sussex, back in August and each mannequin took three and a half days.

She has painstakingly made ruffles, ribbons, buttons, necklaces, earrings, a fan and even dolls from the simple substance.
