An underground bunker that once served as a water treatment plant has been put up for sale and is the perfect place for bringing out the inner hobbit in you.

The subterranean property is in the middle of nowhere on Dartmoor in Devon and used to belong to South West Water.

It has two huge empty storage tanks that were used to filter the water from the rugged landscape of radon gas before it was supplied to the people of Exeter.

It was decommissioned in the 1960s and has lain empty ever since.
