Stewart Hill's portrait of Ray winstone.
An army hero who suffered life-changing injuries in Afghanistan is now forging a new career as a portrait painter after art became part of his recovery.
To the unknowing eye Lt Col Stewart Hill looks a picture of health, but he has a severe traumatic brain injury after an IED exploded next to him nine years ago.
Lt Col Hill was medically discharged from the army but his injuries make it impossible for him to maintain a 'normal' job.
Struggling to come to terms with what had happened he turned to painting, something he had not done since school, as part of his therapy.
But it has now turned into a career, with him winning prestigious prizes and lining up a host of well-known faces to sit for him including actor Ray Winstone, TV presenter Nick Knowles and choirmaster Gareth Malone.
