Travel posters opening a window into British seaside holidays of the past have emerged at auction.
The selection of images, which were displayed at railway stations in the early 20th century, are among 200 being sold in the USA next month and expected to fetch hundreds of thousands of pounds.
They feature paintings from prominent artists of the time and show a sharp contrast to the styles of today.
The posters are being auctioned by Swann Galleries in New York on October 27.
