Prince William's visit to Poundbury, Dorset.
Prince William has followed in his father's footsteps and paid a personal visit to Prince Charles' designer village of Poundbury.
The Duke of Cambridge's informal visit to the development on Duchy of Cornwall land in Dorset took in many of the places his father has named in honour of members of the Royal Family.
The Duke visited a butchers shop in Queen Mother Square where there is a 10ft brostatue of his late great-grandmother as well as palatial block of flats that looks like Buckingham Palace.
The square is also home to the pub called the Duchess of Cornwall, after Prince William's stepmother Camilla.
