New balls please...

As the country gets excited for Wimbledon, a textile factory has been hard at work making reams of fluffy yellow fabric for the world's most famous tennis competition.

WSP Textiles makes the distinctive cloth that covers tennis balls for big name brands such as Dunlop Fort, Head ATP and the Wilson brands, as well as Slazenger's Wimbledon balls.

They provide Slazenger with up to 140 rolls of material at a time - each 63 inches wide and 246ft long - which are then wrapped around more than 54,000 balls for the championship every year.
