Longleat's critically endangered Amur Tiger cubs get their first trip outside.

And as they are one of the world's most endangered species it's no wonder mum Yana, appeared so protective of her precious young.

The 3 month old cubs are part of a Europe wide breeding program designed to save the beautiful but incredibly rare Siberian tiger.

The two cubs, a male called Rusty and Yuki, a female, were born at Longleat Safari Park in June this year - the first tigers born at the Wilshire park for nearly 20 years.
With only around 500 Amur tigers left in the wild they signal fresh hope for the survival of this breed, the largest cat's in the world.
