Turning the malting barley...<br />

The first of this years crop of top quality brewing barley is being malted at Britains oldest maltings in Warminster in Wiltshire.<br />
<br />
In continuous use since 1855, the purpose built malthouse produces 10 tons of the precious Maris otter malt every 3-5 days at this time of year as the fresh harvest is finally ready for the ancient process.
