Mitchell's Hendrix era Ludwig drumhead.
An enormous collection of items belonging to the late drummer Mitch Mitchell has emerged for sale.
The star, who died at the age of 67 in 2008, was best known for his work with Jimmy Hendrix Experience between 1966 and 1970.
Now his family have decided to sell a large amount of his personal items as they feel they can no longer handle the responsibility and want to see them go to a good home.
The collection is made up of countless instruments, shirts, posters and documents - many of which are previously unseen.
The items offer a gateway to a different time with some incredibly outlandish and psychedelic lots perfectly encapsulating London in the 60s.
Among them is a multi coloured, patchwork shaggy coat which Mitchell would often wear to parties.
The coat hangs below the waist and looks more like a rug from Austin Powers front room than a sophisticated dinner jacket.
