James Bond's iconic moon buggy from Diamonds Are Forever has emerged for sale for £490,000 ($600,000).

Sean Connery can be seen in the 1971 film driving across the Nevada desert in it while escaping from villain Willard Whyte.

Unlike other Bond vehicles, this was the only one of its type ever built, and it was subsequently used on a worldwide publicity tour to promote the film's release.
The 13.5ft long, 8.5ft high, 8.5ft wide buggy has a steel frame clad in aluminium panelling with a distinctive Plexiglass dome on top.
