This medium sized bothy sleeps 4 and is located Leacraithnaich by a loch on an ancient site.
Views with rooms. - New book reveals the remote 'bothies' that lie hidden in some of Britain's most spectacular locations.
Nestled away in the beautiful remote wilderness of Scotland are a network of secluded mountain huts - known as bothies - where walkers can stay the night before heading to pastures new.
What is so special about these quaint outposts in some of the most idyllic and untouched landscapes north of the border is that they are completely free to use.
As a result, the location of many bothies has been a closely guarded secret with visitor centres reluctant to advertise their whereabouts for fear they become overcrowded.
But in his new book, The Scottish Bothy Bible, author and photographer Geoff Allan has listed more than 80 of them in a bid to make them known to a wider audience.
