A vast collection of 'weird and wonderful' memorabilia from a music venue that hosted early Beatles gigs has emerged for sale for close to £50,000.
Lathom Hall in Liverpool was one of the best known clubs on the Merseybeat music scene in the late 1950s and early 1960s.
Among their regular bands were the Beatles, although at that time they were known as the Silver Beets.
Since those days the hall has adapted and is now an entertainment venue crammed full of pop culture memorabilia.
