A plucky group of volunteers are fighting a last ditch battle to save the last two cross channel hovercraft from the scrap heap.
The huge craft, designed in the same 1960's era as Concorde, used to 'fly' across the channel in only 30 minutes.
But after 33 years in service they are now in desperate need of help after a convoluted legal battle has led to them being seized by their HCA landlords, who could have them cut up in days.
