A poster advertising Hyderabad.
Rare travel posters advertising the exotic delights of India in the glory days of the British Raj have emerged for sale after they were discovered rolled up in a loft.
The art deco-style posters were commissioned by the Indian Government in the early 1930s to entice travellers and expats to the country's tourist hotspots.
India and neighbouring Sri Lanka, then known as Ceylon, were a vital part of the Empire at the time and the travel there was greatly encouraged.
