Luckett Station in 1961.

Railway enthusiasts are getting steamy about the prospect of living in this former station master's house - which comes with the old track bed and platform in its back garden.

Old Luckett Station near Callington, Devon, that is on the market for £700,000, consists of a three bed detached house and an indoor swimming pool and steam room that used to be the ticket office and waiting room.

Luckett Station served travellers on the old Southern Line from 1908 but was axed as part of the Beeching Cuts in the 1960s.

The station master's house went into private ownership and each of the occupants has conserved the station instead of tearing it down.
