Engineers working on British Airways’ first Concorde, G-BOAA.<br />

A  rare set of rudders that flew supersonic on a Concorde jet have emerged for sale at auction for a whopping £6,000.<br />
<br />
The pieces are painted in British Airways blue, red and white and are set to excite aeroplane buffs desperate to get their hands on a chunk of history.<br />
<br />
The upper rudder measures 4.1ft by 10.7ft by 4.4ft and has a BA Engineering cut out which was made to inspect for corrosion.<br />
<br />
Also included in the same sale are a pair of Concorde seats dating back to 1995.<br />
<br />
After being removed from the aircraft by BA they went on to be displayed on pre-production Concorde 101 G-AXDN plane.<br />
<br />
They are now mounted on wooden base for display purposes and come complete with original electrical connections.
