The iconic British phonebox has been given a ringing endorsement in a new book charting the expiring institution's fascinating history.

Aptly titled 'The British Phonebox', the book primarily focuses on the ubiquitous design that's as emblematic to Britain as the black cab, double decker bus and Houses of Parliament.

The 96 page paperback, jointly authored by friends Nigel Linge and Andy Sutton, is published by Amberley and costs £13.49.
