A canny car booter who bought a Chinese vase for £10 is set make 3,000 times that much when it sells at auction.
The lucky buyer, who does not want to be identified, only realised he had something special when he put the item on eBay and the bidding quickly rocketed to over £10,000.
The man from Hampshire quickly withdrew the listing and took the oriental piece to auctioneers Woolley & Wallis in Salisbury, Wilts, where it has been valued at £30,000.
The vase will be sold at Woolley & Wallis on November 15.
