The insurance certificate that covered the 'total loss' of the Titanic for five million dollars.
The original policy document shows the insurance cover for the liner was only taken out on March 30, 1912 - just two weeks before the ship hit an iceberg and sunk.
The document states: "This policy is subject to total loss or constructive total loss of the vessel." It is being sold by Henry Aldridge and Son auctioneers.
