A fisherman has hooked a one-in-a-million catch when he landed a rare orange lobster that looks as if it has already been cooked.

Iain Matheson, 34, saw the bright flash of orange as he pulled in one of his lobster pots at Loch Bay on the Isle of Skye in Scotland.

He took the once-in-a-lifetime catch home to show his children Somhairle, 8, Ruairidh, 6, and five-year-old Lexy, who were all convinced the lobster was cooked - until it moved.
The unusual crustacean is known as a 'colour morph' and its confusing hue is caused by the lack of a pigment which most lobsters have.
