Ming incised 'Sweet wine' vase £!.75million
A collection of Chinese antiques that a farmer paid as little as £100 per item for has sold for a whopping £45.9 million.
The late Roger Pilkington accumulated about 100 pieces of exquisite Chinese ceramics in the late 1950s and early '60s
He died in 1969 aged just 40. His 'time capsule' collection has remained in his family ever since and they have now sold it at auction.
Leading the sale was a 9ins tall 15th century blue and white Moon Flask which sold for a £10.1m.
