These startling pictures show how plastic cable ties have been used by birds to make a nest in Prince Charles' model village of Poundbury.<br />
<br />
A pair of adult pigeons picked up dozens of the black strips and weaved them among twigs and sticks to make the nest.<br />
<br />
It was spotted by a local resident inside the hopper of a downpipe on the side of the block of flats in Poundbury, near Dorchester, Dorset.
