Litter dropped in Britain's most popular seaside resort reduced by 75 per cent this summer thanks to a new project using drone technology.
The first-of-its kind survey identified alarming litter patterns along Bournemouth beach in Dorset with a staggering 123,000 bits of litter discarded in just one week.
The data was then used to target the worst areas with strategic bin placement.
