A classic E-Type Jaguar a mechanic bought 43 years ago from a dentist for £1,500 is now tipped to sell for £75,000.

Mike Lucas set his heart on the legendary British sports car after seeing the late Jimmy Hill drive one while manager of Coventry City.

The 'beautiful' 1962 E-type Series I coupe was found to be a 'jumble of 1,000 parts' when Mike answered an advert for it in 1978.
It took him over 30 years to repair and restore the bright red motor to its former glory.
