AFC Bournemouth have submitted new plans to BCP Council for a new £15 million training complex on the edge of the town.
The club currently have planning permission to develop the 57-acre former Canford Magna Golf Club site which they bought for £3.75 million in 2017.
The Cherries have been drawing up revised, improved plans for the state-of-the art centre, which have now been submitted as an amendment to the existing permission.
Once approved, the development will begin with immediate effect and the phased build will bring AFC Bournemouth’s first team, development squad, academy and pre-academy training operations into one location.
The centre will offer first-class facilities, including nine full-size pitches, an indoor artificial playing surface and an outdoor artificial playing surface, as well as state-of-the-art medical, sports science and rehabilitation facilities, administrative space and a press conference theatre. « less
