A sealed cartridge for the eighties' Nintendo video game The Legend of Zelda has sold for a world record £625,000.

The untouched and unplayed cartridge is just one of two sealed copies of a rare type of the game that was manufactured for just a few months in 1987.
The price paid for it smashed the previous record of £475,000 set in April this year for a Super Mario Bros. game.
