What a corker...

The owner of a cork model of an ancient Greek temple are reaching for the champagne today after it sold for a whopping £40,000.

The 2ft scaled down version of the Temple of Neptune in Paestum was bought by the current owner's great-great-grandfather on a Grand Tour during the 1820s.
The unnamed owner kept her relative's extravagant souvenir - which would have cost a few pounds in the early 19th Century - on display in a glass case in her living room for the last 30 years.
