A missive from the camp commandant berating a British general after his men broke camp rules to play the British national anthem.
Tell-tale illustrations of British airmen plotting the famous Great Escape drawn by a prisoner of war at huge risk have come to light.
The watercolour paintings were kept in a wartime scrapbook by Flight Lieutenant Archibald Sulston, a keen artist who drew and painted life in the PoW - including obvious evidence of a tunnel being dug.
The album is being sold at auction for £20,000.
