The Cubii prototype.
A miniature exercise machine has been invented so that workers can burn calories while they sit in the office.
The new gadget sits underneath a desk and looks like a mixture between a cross trainer and a bicycle.
A user simply has to sit on their normal chair, place their feet on the two pedals, and then rotate them for the device to work.
It can burn between 100 and 110 calories per hour and will fit underneath any desk due to its compact size.
The machine, known as Cubii, is completely portable and has a handle so it can be easily moved or placed inside a rucksack.
It measures 2ft long, 1ft 3ins wide, and 10ins tall.
The gadget is also engrained with Bluetooth technology that links up to a mobile phone app so users can track their exercise.
It was invented by Arnav Dalmia, 23, who is from Chicago in the USA.
