A brand new piece of cutlery has been invented to save on the washing up - a knife and fork in one.
The wacky contraption, dubbed the 'Knork', combines the four prongs of a fork with the sharp edge of a knife.
The stainless steel device has been cleverly made with very slight curved edges, so the bladed section will not cut someone as it is used.
The Knork can be used on a variety of food such as chicken, pizza, fish, vegetables, salad, and even tender steak.
It is ideal for picnics and barbeques as it will reduce the amount of cutlery required by half, and could save on washing up when used at home.
The gadget can be used by all age groups and can even help disabled people who may be restricted to using just one hand to eat.
The Knork costs 19.50 pounds for a pack of five or 53.62 pounds for a pack of 20.
Simon Buckingham, 53, marketing director at Buckingham Healthcare in Poole, Dorset, said: "The Knork is a knife and fork in one.
