An incredible collection of historic pianos and musical instruments that have been on display in a grand country home for four decades are expected to fetch more than half a million pounds at auction.<br />
<br />
The array of antique pianos, clavichords, harpsichords and other instruments, which span 350 years of music history, were accumulated by concert pianist Richard Burnett and stored at Finchcocks, his baroque house in idyllic Kent countryside near Tunbridge Wells.<br />
<br />
More than 70 keyboard instruments, including some of the best playing instruments in the world, are up for sale, with some expected to fetch up to £70,000.<br />
<br />
The sale by Dreweatts Auctions in Newbury, Berkshire, is on May 11.
