Author Thomas Hardy.

A shepherd's hut used by the real-life Gabriel Oak, the main love interest in the new movie Far From the Madding Crowd, has been saved from ruin after being found abandoned in a hedgerow.

The cabin on wheels belonged to Waterston Manor, the inspiration for fictional Weatherbury Farm which Carey Mulligan's character Bathsheba Everdene owns in the film adaptation of the Thomas Hardy classic novel.
It has been returned to its former glory by historian David Morris.
