An incredibly rare Roman coin featuring one of the earliest depictions of the Colosseum has sold for £372,000 over four times the original estimate.

The bronze Sestertius coin that dates back to AD81 is believed to be only one of 10 that exists today.

Seven are known of and are in museums around the world while the other three are in private hands.
London specialist coin dealers Dix Noonan Webb gave the coin an estimate of £80,000 but it went for over four times that at £372,000.
